What is merging?
Merging is when you copy one vehicle’s customization parts to another vehicle. That lets you get parts or colours on a car that normally aren’t possible—e.g. Turbo on the Imorgon, custom rims on the Zhaba, or painting the Sovereign. The game does this by ID values: if you merge a Panto with the first front bumper (ID=1) onto a Buccaneer, the Buccaneer gets the same bumper ID if it supports that slot. The same idea applies to paint, texture, livery, horns, armour, wheels, body style (extras), and more.
The car you take the mods from is called the donor vehicle. You can’t put a Sabre Turbo hood on a different car or add Nitrous to a non–Arena War vehicle—only what the receiving vehicle supports in its code. You also can’t put car rims on a bike or vice versa.
How do I do it?
It depends on which method is currently working. Merging is an exploit, so Rockstar can patch the active method; the community then finds new ones. Historically the Arena Workshop was used; now there are several mechanics that can be used. Check r/gtaglitches for up‑to‑date merge glitch steps.
Spreadsheets & guides
These pages host the same reference spreadsheets and info from the Se7enSins vehicle merging thread. Laptop/PC is recommended for viewing the sheets.
Liveries
Livery IDs and which vehicles support them (including “set 1” and “set 2” for weaponized vehicles). Vagrant and Hotring Sabre support up to 30 livery IDs in LSC.

Body styles (extras)
Extras that aren’t in LSC but can be obtained via merging. The Panto has 5 extras and is one of the best donors; use the flip glitch in LSC to add/remove them.

F1 wheels can be merged onto any vehicle that can enter the Arena mod shop. This sheet lists wheel IDs so you can target specific ones.

Quick notes
Unique performance upgrades: Some cars can have Super Transmission, Super Brakes, or Super Engine. Not every car supports them (e.g. merging PR4 Super Transmission onto a Tornado can revert it to 0 if the Tornado has no 5th slot). The “Super Engine” (5th engine slot) is only on certain vehicles (e.g. Sultan RS, Tahoma Coupe, Shinobi, Reever, Powersurge, Panthere, Manchez Scout C, Journey II, Cinquemila, Champion, Astron); on current-gen you can get it via Hao’s Special Works and use that car as donor.
Bikes: The Chimera, Raptor, Stryder, and Rampant Rocket can accept both bike and F1 wheel types—useful for merging wheel types across vehicles.
